About the Conference

The Florida Dispute Resolution Center (DRC) is a unit of the Office of the State Courts Administrator under the Supreme Court of Florida.

The Supreme Court of Florida, through the DRC, certifies mediators in the areas of county court, circuit court, family, dependency, and appellate. Mediators renew their certification including completing 16 hours of continuing mediator education every two years.

The DRC also provides staff assistance to five Supreme Court of Florida boards and committees, certifies mediation training programs, provides basic county mediation training and advanced continuing mediator education, and assists the local courts throughout Florida with alternative dispute resolution issues.

The DRC facilitates this conference to benefit alternative dispute resolution professionals, judges, lawyers, and all stakeholders in the alternative dispute resolution community.
