TAMUT NDLW Mini-Conference
2018 Call For Proposals

Texas A&M University-Texarkana NDLW Mini-Conference is pleased to announce the 2018 Annual Conference Call for Proposals. Proposals are now being accepted based on the conference theme, “Going The Distance: Quality Assurance.”

Presentations should be either 30-minute informational sessions, or 45-minute hands-on demonstrations.

In keeping with our theme, the following tracks should guide the general areas of presentations:

Setting The Pace – Speaker should focus on current best practices and success stories related to quality in distance education.

Taking The Lead –These sessions will discuss the direction distance education is heading, should head, success metrics that are currently in place or should be developed to show value.

Down The Road – This track specifically focuses on extending learning spaces using modern technologies and techniques.

Fast Lane
– Operational presentations that can focus on the how-to’s, operational planning, faculty and institutional engagement, professional development, and operational shifts.

Keeping On Track – Presentations on policies, regulations, etc. This track will cover policy development, issues with developing robust policies, balancing needs for quality vs. faculty concerns related to academic freedom surrounding federal policies such as Accessibility and State Authorization.
