Alexia Georghiou, founder and Organizational Management Consultant of The Resilient Pathway, is a consultant with 25 years of experience teaching healthy cultural & social norms to individuals, groups, & families with well-being tools, fostering wholeness in communities. Specialist with communication, problem solving & conflict resolution training, evidenced by the ability of families worked with to mend relationships and meet life goals. She has executed communication strategies with payers, resulting in retention of clients for mental health providers; 30% above the industry standard. She has a passion to foster well-being in individuals, teams & organizations through effective change management strategies. Certified in Leadership & Management with a thorough understanding how management techniques impact human behavior, positively affecting employee engagement, productivity, & organizational bottom line earnings. She currently serves on the board of The Knoxville Association of Women Executives as President Elect/VP, in preparation of being the President in 2022. Her courses on resilience, motivating multi-generational teams and organizational culture are elective courses for The University of Tennessee Conferences & Non-Credit Programs Leadership & Supervisory Management Certifications.

My Story, the Story AI Tells; Bias & Privacy

With the new world of AI, there are ethical considerations with implementation. We have been thrust quickly and deeply in this new world in 2020. There are ethical implications with bias that need to be considered. Toyota Corporation does not have a quality department. Quality is every employee’s role. Business leaders will benefit greatly with a strategy to build infrastructure correctly. Humans have bias, and we are being tasked to feed AI information. There are privacy implications with a surveillance system gathering data about us.
OBJECTIVES:
1. Participants will leave with an increased understanding of ethics &. AI.
2. Participants will increase ethical considerations of data mining & privacy as related to marketing.
3. Participants will identify bias we all carry with implications for diversity & inclusion.
4. Business leaders & software developers will benefit greatly with a strategy to build infrastructure ethically.

Motivating Multi-Generational Teams: A Leader's Guide

Leadership development required lifetime practice of soft skills including emotional intelligence. In this presentation we share the top 8 skills leaders of organizations have reported they continually work to develop and consider as essential. Our focus also is on how to drive strategy with healthy culture. We share what collaborative leadership is with our tenets of leading with the head and heart. We share how to motivate multi-generational teams based on research findings.

Objectives:
1. The participant will learn about soft skills that are essential for success in leadership.

2. The participant will learn how to motivate multi-generational teams.

3. The participant will learn about micro-aggressions, implicit bias and examples of how to address conflict.

4. The participant will learn the tenets of collaborative leadership driven by healthy culture initiatives.

Resilience Practical Application & Science

We all have stressors in life, and they have been profound with the challenges the COVID19 pandemic has brought forth. How are we responding to these stressors? A larger question to ask, ‘is it the leader’s responsibility to foster self-care at work to address this burnout epidemic?” In this presentation we talk about burnout, define self care with science backed strategies to build resilience in teams.

Participants will learn about burnout, the benefits of support and elements of self care.
Participants will learn what empathy is, and how regulate emotions in their daily lives.
Participants will learn about the science of well-being and how a positive mindset is proven to benefit workplace productivity, engagement and bottom line earnings.
Participants will receive training in mindset development with mental exercises.

This is the 'how to' create healthy culture in your classroom, school, organization, community & government. We share research driven models.

Upon completion, participants will be able to reduce inequity and foster unity for the good of the organization remembering that cohesive teams increase performance during stress in cases where individuals and poorly led teams panic.

Upon completion, participants will be able to remove negative emotion of leading with fear, and promote positive emotion by fostering an environment for the team to focus and increase productivity with hope.

Upon completion, participants will be able to practice "participative management" with an environment of safety psychologically.
