Mind&Voice of post punk band Feline&Strange and co-chief of music production centre musik erlaubt

Feline Lang is well known as an opera and tango singer and opera director; her visual and theatrical work spans from stage performance via the shocking or tearjerking videos to poetry as an art book. Her career also has seen several international collaborations in music and theatre; she worked for renowned places and events like Edinburgh Fringe and Schaubühne Berlin, and run her awarded opera troupe canteatro from 2004-2011.

When she started writing her own songs in 2010, she was quickly joined by punk cellist Christoph Klemke with whom together she founded and runs the music productions centre music erlaubt in Berlin, and in 2018 by punk drummess Rah Fookinhell. After their first 2 longplayer releases, the band was discovered in 2014 by US producer Jason Rubal (Amanda Palmer, Bitter Ruin, Garbage, Pandora’s Bliss, birdeatsbaby…) who invited them to record another album with Brian Viglione (Dresden Dolls, Violent Femmes, Nine Inch Nails…). Until 2017, 3 longplayers came out of this collaboration.
In 2015, German Bundestag funds their 1st US tour, and Berlin musicboard a residency in Marseille, France. The band tour the US again, become a frequent guest in the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany, and release several international collaborations. The much anticipated 6th longplayer TRIGGER WARNING was released on 4/4 2020 despite Corona. The release festival in the form of the StReamball was funded, again, by musicboard Berlin, and reached not only several thousand viewers but also brought F&S as headliners and counselors to more international Streamivals.
