I am a part-time adjunct instructor and full-time learning technologist for Texas A&M University-Texarkana. In my full-time position, I provide assistance and professional development to faculty for online course development and instructional technology. I have also served as an adjunct at University of Arkansas Community College where I taught Introduction to Computers. I have a Ph.D. in Learning Technologies from the University of North Texas, a Master of Science in Instructional Technology from this university, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Metropolitan State College of Denver.

Before moving into the field of higher education, I spent 20 years in the corporate sector as a technical writer, working for several fortune 500 companies including Lockheed Martin, Mansville-Schuller, and Qwest Communication.

I live with my husband of 30+ years. He is my best friend, and we have 6 children and two grandchildren, whom I adore. In my spare time (ha ha!), I enjoy reading and writing inspirational romance and mystery stories, sewing, quilting, and crafting. I am a published romance novelist.
