Tech Is Full of Neurodivergent People. We Just Don’t Talk About It

Neurodiversity and the tech industry seem to gravitate toward each other.

Search for careers suited to neurodivergent people and you’ll see the same pattern, IT, engineering, data, software. The Microsoft ecosystem is full of neurodivergent professionals… yet it’s still something we rarely talk about openly at work.

This panel brings that conversation to the front.

You’ll hear from four professionals across the Microsoft stack, including project managers, solution architects, consultants, and practice leaders, each with different lived experiences of neurodiversity. The panel includes both early and late diagnoses, as well as perspectives from parents of AuDHD children.

Together, we’ll explore:

How neurodiversity shows up in real-world roles across the Microsoft ecosystem
The strengths it can bring to problem solving, delivery, and innovation
The challenges that often go unspoken in teams and organisations
Practical ways to create more supportive, inclusive working environments

This is not a theoretical or clinical session. It’s grounded in lived experience.

Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of how neurodiversity impacts the way people work, communicate, and collaborate, along with practical ideas they can apply immediately in their teams.

Whether you identify as neurodivergent, work alongside someone who is, or lead teams within the Microsoft space, this session will give you a more honest and useful perspective on a topic that affects far more people than we openly acknowledge.
