In this session, we will examine the importance of identity within Microsoft 365. We will discuss the four identity choices available, which are Cloud only, Password-Hash synchronisation, Passthrough authentication, and Federation. We will talk about the decision points for selecting the best identity method, and what is involved in configuring these methods, including hardware and software requirements, and some other prerequisites and potential remediation requirements. At the end of this session, you will be prepared to plan a new Microsoft 365 deployment with the most logical identity method, or make plans to change an existing identity model if it is not working for you.
