Session

Protecting your Microsoft Teams environment with Teams Policies

In this session, we will explore how Teams Administrators can protect the content that is stored in Microsoft Teams by configuring policies within the Teams Admin Center. We will take a look at Meeting & Live Events Polices, Messaging Policies, and App & App permissions policies. We will show how the global policy settings for these Teams features are applied, and how you can create and assign custom policies for these functions to your Teams users.

We will also explain the difference between per user and per organizer policies in Teams Meetings, the effect that policies have within Teams apps, and what types of apps can be configured, including Microsoft Apps, Third-party Apps, and Custom Apps.

At the end of this session, you will understand the function and features provided by Teams policies, and how to apply them in line with your organizational needs.
