I will present a real-world use case of IoT for water and energy conservation leveraging the power of Google Cloud Technologies. I will discuss two specific use cases in the context of how important is to conserve water and energy in populous nations like India.

Borewell Efficiency: Discover how, using an array of IoT sensors, optimizes borewell operations. By integrating data from Level Sensors, Flow meters, and Motor Controllers, we've achieved enhanced yield, motor longevity, and efficient groundwater management, preventing overflows and preserving groundwater tables.

Sewage Water Transformation: Delve into how tech ensures water quality, especially in the transformation of sewage into potable water, through IoT-enabled solutions.

I will also discuss the technical journey, exploring the intricacies of developing this solution on Google Cloud. From leveraging Pub Sub, running MQTT brokers in Compute Engine, to employing Cloud Run & Functions for business logic, Firestore for No-SQL data storage, BigQuery for analytics, Firebase messaging for anomaly alerts, and Flutter for app development, every facet of this project showcases the power and versatility of Google Cloud.
