#DataSessions is a Live Webinar organised by Singapore SQLPASS presented by local and international speakers about Data Platform Technologies. Singapore SQL PASS is the Data Platform user group community in Singapore. This used to be the monthly user community meetup here in Singapore for Data Platform Professionals. The pandemic forced us to go virtual so we had to evolve and adapt. It turned out to be a blessing because it allowed us to reach more professionals in APAC and have guest international speakers from anywhere in the world.
Who are we looking for? We're looking for passionate speakers who can share about Data Platform technologies.
What topics are we looking for? We love Azure SQL/SQL Server and everything under Data Platform - Database, Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, Big Data, AI & Machine Learning.
When are the sessions? We hold it on Tuesday nights every two weeks and have two speakers each night. First session is 7:00 pm to 7:50 pm SGT and the second sessions is 8:00 pm to 8:50 pm SGT. That's 7:00 AM EST for the first session and 8:00 AM EST for the second session. Check your local time here. You'll be able to pick your choice of Dates to present when you submit your session.

Who are we looking for?
We're looking for passionate speakers who can share about Data Platform technologies. We've got MVPs, MCTs as well as Microsoft resources who have presented to the group but passionate first-timers are more than welcome and encouraged. We usually pair one local and one international speaker for each episode. For now, sessions are in English, we'll update here if we ever get the numbers to have a Mandarin, Malay or Tamil speaking session.
What topics are we looking for?
We love Azure SQL/SQL Server and everything under Data Platform - Database, Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, Big Data, AI & Machine Learning. How To's are very popular and well-received as well as introduction of what's the latest tool feature both on Azure Data Services as well as on-prem tools.
When are the sessions?
We held it on Thursday nights and have two speakers each night, each session is for 50 minutes including Q&A. First session is 7:00 pm to 7:50 pm SGT and the second session is 8:00 pm to 8:50 pm SGT. That's 7:00 AM EST for the first session and 8:00 AM EST for the second session. Check your local time here.
Where are the sessions?
Sessions are held through Microsoft Teams. It is live-streamed in Facebook and YouTube in the Singapore MVP Group Channel.
