2024 P4 Workshop

The P4 Workshop is an opportunity for the P4 ecosystem to share knowledge and experiences with the broader community and to facilitate collaboration. The workshop will incorporate insights and perspectives from the P4 community, especially in the following key areas:

+ P4 language

+ P4 targets

+ P4 tool chain

+ P4 use cases & applications

+ Control plane or network OS for P4 targets

+ Extensions to P4

+ Cross-cutting work between P4 and related systems such as eBPF and service meshes.


The P4 Workshop will include invited keynotes, breakout sessions with the P4 Working Groups, and presentations, demos and posters from the accepted submissions. Presentations will be 25 minutes long, and demos and posters will be on display during breaks. The Technical Program Committee, composed of P4 community members, will review proposals, make selections and inform each speaker of their decision to accept or deny all proposals.

Submission Instructions: 


There are four submission formats:

- In-depth Talk (20 minutes)

- Lightning Talk (5 minutes)

- Tabletop Demo

- Poster


For in-depth talks, please submit a two-page summary of your presentation. For other types of submissions, please submit a one-page outline of what you plan to present in your lightning talk, demo, or poster.
