location

San Jose, California, United States

DATES TO REMEMBER:

CFP Opens: Monday, June 30

CFP Close: Friday, August 1 (11:59 pm PT)

CFP Notifications: by Friday, August 29

Event Date: Monday, October 13

Reminder: This is a community event — so no product and/or vendor sales pitches.

The P4 Workshop event is an opportunity for the P4 ecosystem to share knowledge, insights and experiences across the broader community and to facilitate collaboration. This year the workshop is being held as a hybrid event with both in-person and pre-recorded content.

The live portion of the P4 Workshop will take place live on Monday, October 13th from noon-3:30pm in conjunction with 2025 OCP Global Summit on October 13-16 in San Jose, California.

In-Depth Talks: Some CFP talks will be selected to be presented live at this venue and a pass to attend the full OCP Global event will be included. Additional presentations will be selected to be pre-recorded and hosted on the P4 website.

Tabletop Demo & Posters: P4 is hosting a booth at OCP Global in the exhibit hall. We would like to rotate live demos and poster sessions from those selected through the CFP process (presenters will be able to select from available time slots); a full event pass to attend the OCP Global event will be provided to those presenting. For individuals unable to attend, we will offer the option of a pre-recorded demo or poster that will be hosted on the P4 website.

We welcome innovative and thought provoking talks and perspectives. A few areas of particular interest to the P4 community to consider are:

+ P4 language

+ P4 targets

+ P4 tool chain

+ P4 use cases, applications and research

+ Control plane or network OS for P4 targets

+ Extensions to P4

+ Cross-cutting work between P4 and related systems such as eBPF, service meshes, and AI systems (e.g. in-network support for AI training and inference)

The Technical Program Committee, composed of P4 community members, will review all submissions, make selections and inform each speaker of their decision to accept or deny each proposal.
