The 2026 Call for Proposals is the way for you to share your experience, knowledge and skills in higher education sustainability at the AASHE 2026 Conference & Expo or via AASHE’s other educational programs (webinars, virtual workshops, online courses, etc). All proposals must be submitted electronically through this form.

Important Dates & Deadlines:

  • Call for Proposals submission period closes: April 10, 2026
  • Acceptance/decline notifications: mid to late June 2026
  • Conference presenter registration deadline: September 11, 2026
  • Conference: October 4-6, 2026, Baltimore, MD

Resources to review before starting a proposal:

You will also need:

  • Correct email addresses for all speakers
  • Preferred presentation date and time of your chosen session type (see options listed in the submission template)

For Businesses:

Proposals that sound like advertisements of a product or service will not be accepted. Additionally, it is required that you include a campus representative as a presenter to help make the content applicable to participants.

  • For the conference: We typically don’t accept proposals submitted by or featuring non-member businesses (except as a benefit associated with sponsorship). Join AASHE or sponsor the conference!
  • For virtual education programs: We require that at least one presenter is affiliated with an AASHE member organization. In addition, as offering a webinar is a benefit of Business Leader membership, we do not accept webinars that include businesses that are not Business Leader members.

You will be able to save your in-progress proposal if you are not ready to submit. You must ensure your final proposal is submitted by the April 10 deadline. If you have any questions please review the packet, the template, the FAQ or contact us at conference@aashe.org. We are looking forward to reviewing your submission.
