The idea of JCON USA at IBM TechXchange is simple: bring great Java community voices into the IBM Java ecosystem.

We want speakers who can help IBM’s Java audience connect with real-world Java experience from outside the usual circle, and who can also engage with IBM engineers, architects, customers, and partners around the future of (enterprise) Java.

Topics

We are looking for topics focused on Java (IBM has the other stuff pretty well covered with their 1.000+ other sessions). Broad Java Core Topics are welcome. Think of Things that most Java developers benefit from in their projects.

AI topics related to IBM Bob and Java are very welcome.

Sessions

  • Breakout Sessions are 45 minutes long (including Q&A) and are held in a session room.
  • Tech Talks are 20 minutes (including Q&A) and take place at the JCON Hub in the Sandbox
  • AI Mentoring Hub Topics are held at the JCON Hub in the Sandbox.

Schedule:

  • Monday: Community Day; Evening: Sandbox Party
  • Tuesday: Sessions; Evening: Free
  • Wednesday: Sessions; Evening: World of Coca Cola & Georgia Aquarium
  • Thursday: Sessions (till 1300h) - end of event
