Artificial Intelligence (AI) has the potential to revolutionize biomedical research, health care, and education. However, amid this exciting landscape, there has been a surge in news reports raising concerns that AI is prone to inflated expectations, errors, and biases. The UT System AI Symposium in Health Care aims to bridge the gap between cutting-edge methodology and current day applications. By bringing together researchers, clinicians, educators, and students, we hope to create a collaborative space to:

Abstract/Poster Submission Requirements and Guidelines


Submission Expectations and Requirements

Submitters must provide a completed submission and accompanying abstract that aligns with the selected conference track and meets all required submission criteria. Submissions should clearly demonstrate relevance to the chosen topic area and contribute meaningful insights, research findings, innovations, or perspectives related to the conference themes.


Accepted Topics and Areas

Abstract submissions should align with the track selected during the submission process. Accepted topics will be determined based on the relevance, quality, and alignment of the submission with the selected track and overall conference focus.


Target Submitter Expertise Level

Abstract submissions are welcome from individuals across a range of backgrounds and experience levels. No specific expertise level is required.


Intended Audience

The speaker and poster program is designed for healthcare professionals, researchers, educators, students, industry partners, and others interested in advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and healthcare innovation.


Professional Conduct and Attire

Business casual attire is recommended for all presenters and conference participants. All attendees are expected to maintain a professional and respectful environment.
