2027 ACUI Annual Conference

event starts

28 Feb 2027

event ends

4 Mar 2027

location

Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Baltimore, Maryland, United States

We are excited to be hosting the 2027 ACUI Annual Conference from February 28 - March 4 in Baltimore, and it is our hope that educational submissions help create a meaningful and engaging educational experience for all of our attendees. Students and professional staff from all specialities, levels of leadership, regions, and involvement within ACUI are invited to submit a proposal. The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, September 1.

As you consider your session proposal, we invite you to reflect on this year’s conference vision:

The Annual Conference will foster belonging through shared learning and community, while inspiring attendees with restorative energy, empowerment, and fresh ideas. Rooted in Baltimore’s spirit of resilience and creativity, the conference will equip participants with tangible tools and renewed motivation to drive meaningful change on their campuses.

With that vision in mind, our theme focuses on belonging, empowerment, and restorative energy and action. We welcome session proposals that explore one or more of the following:

  • Belonging: How do you create and nurture a sense of welcome, shared learning, and community?
  • Empowerment: In what ways could you challenge others to take in a new idea and leave with tangible tools, confidence, and motivation?
  • Restorative Energy & Action: What perspective or knowledge would leave attendees feeling refreshed, motivated, and ready to take knowledge back home to enact real change?

Proposals that highlight tangible takeaways within these themes are strongly encouraged.

In addition to the themes, we are seeking out more education sessions on the topics members are asking for:

  • Fiscal management
  • Assessment, evaluation, and research
  • Marketing
  • Audio visual and technology
  • Programming
  • Advising and supervising

Your voice is important as our profession continues to learn and grow together. We hope you’ll join us by presenting a session at the Annual Conference and use the themes highlighted above to help you create your session submission.

Please note, you will need to create an account and profile with Sessionize, ACUI's platform for managing sessions, prior to submitting.
