Thank you for considering submitting a session at the Canadian Power Platform Summit (CPPS24).

This first edition will take place at the Vancouver Microsoft Offices, on March 15th and 16th 2024.

Join us for an exclusive 1.5-day summit, fostering an intimate setting with a carefully curated program.

Highlights

Speakers/sessions: about 30 industry experts in 2 to 4  concurrent tracks.

Attendees: Limited to ensure meaningful connections—expecting just about 200 participants.

Our Goal: A small, impactful event fostering quality interactions and insights. Help us make the first Canadian Power Platform Summit a resounding success!

Session Format

There is a limited number of rooms available to hold sessions, so to optimize the offering we are looking for presentations of 35 minutes.

Meeting rooms will be available for post-presentation AMA sessions. Speakers are expected to dedicate up to 30 minutes for those after their presentation.

The success of this event greatly depends upon the motivation of the speakers and the quality of the content they present. This is why we ask you to optionally submit a 2-minute video to the selection committee.

Selection is not to be based on your status or the number of previous presentations you have done in UGs or conferences.

Craft a Compelling Session Proposal

• Think about how you would select a session when attending a conference.

• Have a title that is interesting, while informative.

• Make sure that how you present is explained (live demo or not - for example).

• Let everyone know what they will learn and take away with them from this session

• Inject your passion into your proposal.

Session type

We will be planning for the following session types:

35-minute general presentations (plus AMA participation of 30 minutes)

Session levels

The conference is directed to four main audiences, IT Pros, Developers, Business Decision Makers and Makers and will cover levels 100 - 300.

Level 100: Beginner. Little or no expertise with the topic and covers topic concepts, functions, features, and benefits.

Level 200: Intermediate. Minimum 100-level knowledge to provide a deeper view of the topic.

Level 300: Advanced. Minimum 200-level knowledge, and in-depth understanding of the theme.

Please ensure that the session submitted is clearly in line with the level selected.

Ethical responsibility

The CPPS team believes in the importance of a globally connected Power Platform community that advocates a diverse, inclusive, equal and fair industry based on the values of excellence, mutual respect, freedom of speech and progressiveness.

Therefore we do not tolerate any form of favouritism, hurtful language, discrimination, abuse, marginalisation or insulting behaviour on the grounds of gender, ethnicity, religion, background, skin colour, religious belief, sexuality, gender identity, socio-economic class, caste, disability or age at or related to the conference and in the sessions. Please ensure that be aware of these policies and behave accordingly.
