Proposals Due June 25, 2025 | Submit Here

Are you a cybersecurity expert, enterprise IT leader or a proven AI technologist with unique insights on securing and deploying AI in the enterprise? The editorial team behind Converge360's PureAI.com, Redmondmag.com, AWSInsider.net and VirtualizationReview.com is looking for knowledgeable, experienced speakers to present at our upcoming virtual seminar, Securing IT in the AI Era. This free, one-day event will bring together IT and cybersecurity professionals from across industries to explore best practices for implementing, securing and managing AI in today's enterprise environments.

This is not a call for papers; we've already selected six high-impact session topics that speak to the top concerns of security-minded IT pros, and we're currently seeking engaging speakers to deliver these talks, as well as a keynote presenter to open the event. Each session is 45 minutes long (followed by a live audience Q&A) and presented live virtually. Each session is designed to be educational -- no product pitches! Accepted speakers will receive $1,200 per session.

Available Session Topics:

What Makes AI Dangerous?
This session will explore the specific ways AI poses new risks to enterprise security, from deepfakes and scalable phishing attacks, to data poisoning and prompt injection, and beyond. It will cover both current threats and hypothetical but plausible attack scenarios that security teams need to understand. Attendees will learn how attackers exploit the unique properties of AI models, and why traditional security tools may not be enough. Ideal speakers will be able to connect deep technical knowledge with real-world implications. Potential topics include:
  • AI-based attack automation
  • Prompt injection and jailbreak techniques
  • Model inversion and training data leakage
  • Adversarial examples and AI model manipulation

AI Sprawl, Bring Your Own AI and Other Threats To Prepare For
With generative AI tools more accessible than ever, IT leaders are facing a surge in unapproved and unmanaged AI use across departments. This session will unpack the risks posed by AI sprawl and shadow AI, including compliance gaps, data loss and unpredictable behaviors. The speaker will share strategies for identifying and controlling unsanctioned AI tools before they cause harm. A strong candidate will have experience with enterprise-scale governance or endpoint security challenges. Potential topics include:
  • Shadow AI and unauthorized tool use
  • Policy enforcement across hybrid environments
  • Securing third-party and SaaS-based AI tools
  • Risk scoring and AI asset inventory strategies

AI for Good: Enterprise Use Cases that Security Pros Can Be Happy About
AI isn't just for attackers -- it can be a powerful tool for defenders, too. This session will highlight real-world enterprise use cases where AI is being deployed successfully to support cybersecurity, compliance and risk management. From threat detection to automated response, the speaker will showcase examples of "AI for good" that deliver measurable business value. Ideal speakers will bring case studies, dashboards or lessons learned from successful implementations. Potential topics include:
  • AI-assisted threat hunting and anomaly detection
  • Automating security workflows with AI
  • AI for compliance reporting or insider threat mitigation
  • SOC and SIEM enhancement with LLMs

Know Before You Go: Security Precautions To Take for Deploying AI
Before rolling out a new AI initiative, organizations must ensure their environments and data are secure. This session provides a practical checklist of security controls, governance considerations and architectural red flags to watch for. The speaker will help security teams and IT leaders prepare their systems and policies to safely support AI workloads. A good fit for this talk is someone with experience in secure deployment pipelines or AI readiness assessments. Potential topics include:
  • Secure architecture for AI workloads
  • Governance models and AI security baselines
  • Third-party risk management
  • Legal and regulatory considerations

Safe, Sane & Secure LLM Training
Fine-tuning and training large language models (LLMs) on sensitive enterprise data brings significant risk if not handled properly. This session will cover the security and privacy concerns that come with LLM training -- from data provenance to leakage risk -- and how to mitigate them. The speaker will share actionable best practices and tooling to ensure enterprise LLM projects remain compliant and safe. Speakers with experience in model development, MLOps or data protection are especially welcome. Potential topics include:
  • Safeguards for using PII or proprietary data
  • Isolated training environments and access control
  • Red-teaming and post-training model testing
  • LLMOps and CI/CD pipeline security

End User AI Training Tips
As generative AI tools make their way to employees' desktops, organizations need effective user education programs to avoid security slip-ups. This session focuses on training non-technical users to use AI tools responsibly, without exposing the organization to data leaks or compliance violations. The speaker will share communication strategies, training content ideas and policy rollout tips. Great candidates will have experience in user education, security awareness programs or IT governance. Potential topics include:
  • Building AI usage guidelines and policies
  • Teaching prompt hygiene and data handling
  • Awareness campaigns for AI tool risks
  • Balancing productivity and control

Keynote
The keynote should provide a high-level view of the risks, opportunities and transformative impact of AI on enterprise IT and security. We’re looking for a recognized thought leader -- whether a CISO, AI ethics advocate, enterprise CTO or research leader -- who can blend vision with practical insight. The keynote will be 45 minutes long and presented live.

Speaker Expectations:
  • Prepare and deliver a 45-minute virtual session live.
  • Participate in a 5- to 10-minute moderated audience Q&A.
  • Collaborate with the event and editorial team to tailor the content for the target audience.
  • Deliver non-promotional, vendor-neutral education.
  • Be available for a short prep call with the event team before the live date.
  • Promptly meet all deadlines for deliverables (e.g., presentation slides, seed questions, etc.).
