Thank you for your interest in presenting at Minnesota M365 Fall, 2024 Workshop Day In Person!
We are meeting in-person at the Microsoft Technology Center (MTC) in Edina, MN, Friday, October 25th, 2024. We are planning a day filled with fun, education, and a few other surprises that are sure to make MN M365 Workshop Day an event to remember!
How Much Time Will I Have to Present?
Each workshop will be 2 hours and 45 minutes in length. We want to provide true in-depth workshops for our members. We are only accepting submissions to attend in person. These workshops will not be recorded. Keynote will be 25 minutes at the beginning of the event.
Speaker submissions are due no later than Monday, August 19th, 2024.
Speaker selection will be announced the following week. All speakers are expected to register for the event.
What Kind of Sessions Do We Need?
We are looking for M365 Security/Compliance, Administration, Adoption, Automation, AI, and Collaboration presentations. Please think about how Copilot and Teams plays a role in each of these areas. We would also welcome professional development sessions and panel/group sessions giving attendees the opportunity to interact with presenters.
Technical presentations showing configuration, code examples, and demos are always great, but we’re often asked for sessions targeted at administrators and business decision makers which help them learn how to use M365 in creative ways, how things work (and don’t work), and whatever else they need to know to get the most out of M365 within their organization. Sessions like “How [My Company] Solved [Something] Using Administrative configurations, PowerShell or even Conditional Access Policies” tend to be very popular.
Many people are interested in seeing and learning about 2024 capabilities in M365. Consider submitting sessions relevant to attendees who are cloud based and using diverse types of tenants like commercial, government and education.
How Can I Improve My Chances of Being Selected?
First, think of your audience. You are writing your workshop titles and abstracts for the event attendees. Write it to make it clear who should attend and the technical level they can expect. What you enter on the speaker submission form will be the exact text included on our website schedule.
Speaker benefits to be announced. We will provide as much as we can, but it will depend on our sponsorships.
