event starts

30 Oct 2025

event ends

31 Oct 2025

location

San Antonio, Texas, United States

Navigating challenges in health professions education through innovative solutions requires educators to address complex issues in teaching and learning with creativity and forward-thinking strategies. Health professions educators face ongoing challenges such as balancing classroom and clinical learning, integrating new technologies, addressing diverse learner needs, and preparing students for rapidly changing healthcare environments. How can we engage learners effectively in both classroom and clinical settings to ensure knowledge translates into practice? What innovative tools or methods can help bridge the gap between theory and hands-on application? How can we leverage technology to enhance engagement and outcomes without losing the human touch?

The Generalists in Medical Education conference is where health professions educators and students from across the United States and other countries gather to make connections, share ideas, grow professionally, and discover solutions to challenges in teaching and learning.
