AAIF Sri Lanka Chapter - Inaugural Meetup
We're launching the Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF) Sri Lanka Chapter, and this is our very first gathering. Join us on 10th September 2026 at Hatch Works Colombo, 6:00 PM onwards, for an evening built around the fastest-moving corner of AI - agents that reason, plan, use tools, and act on their own.
As part of the global AAIF community, this chapter exists to bring together the people actually building agentic systems here in Sri Lanka - and we want our first stage to reflect exactly that. Whether you've shipped a multi-agent system in production, wired up your first tool-calling loop over a weekend, or you're researching where all of this is headed, we want to hear from you.
On the fence about submitting? Submit anyway. Some of the best talks come from practitioners sharing what actually broke, what they learned, and what they'd do differently. Bring the real story.
What we're looking for
Sessions across the full agentic AI landscape, including (but not limited to):
Who should submit
Anyone. You don't need to be a well-known speaker or hold a PhD. If you're a practitioner, founder, student, or researcher with something real to share, this stage is for you. First-time speakers are especially welcome - reach out and we'll help you shape your session.
Session formats
Levels
All levels welcome, from introductory ("what even is an agent?") to deep technical dives. Please indicate the expected level and any prerequisites in your submission.
Target audience
Software and ML engineers, data scientists, founders, product builders, students, and the broadly AI-curious.
