Dear Prospective Presenters,
The Association of California School Administrators' Student Services and Special Education Council invites you to submit a proposal to present at the 2026 Every Child Counts Symposium.
We'll be back at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina in San Diego, CA from January 12-14, 2026 for the 2026 Every Child Counts Symposium.
The 2026 ECC Symposium's Theme is "Navigating the Present, Bridging the Future"
60 or 75 minute breakout sessions will be held on:
Monday, Jan 12th | Tuesday, Jan 13th | Wednesday, Jan 14th
SELECTION CRITERIA: Proposed presentations will be evaluated on how relevant and practical the presentation will be to our attendees. In addition, presentations will be evaluated on description of clear, measurable learning outcomes. Workshop learning activities should provide opportunities for participants to practice skills identified in the learning outcomes. Proposals should provide evidence to support that the workshop is relevant, timely, and likely to contribute to professional development of attendees.
PROPOSAL DUE DATE: Monday, June 30th 2025 at 12:00 p.m. via Sessionize. You will receive confirmation of your submission via email. You may edit your proposal until the deadline and can submit more than one proposal.
Notifications of proposal approval will be shared electronically and, if selected, an electronic version of your presentation slides (PowerPoint or other presentation software) must be submitted no later than Monday, January 5th, 2026.
Proposal submitters will be notified of their proposal status by the end of July.
