After Tokens is a one-day conference in San Francisco for the engineers and builders working on this new layer of AI infrastructure.

AI products are changing how software gets built, consumed, and paid for.
Tokens are only one part of it. Teams now have to think about usage, credits, limits, entitlements, metering, pricing, billing, contracts, cost control, and what happens when all of that needs to work in real time.
We are looking for technical talks, real-world lessons, architecture breakdowns, and strong opinions from people actually building these systems.
We are especially interested in talks based on something you built, changed, broke, learned, or would do differently today.

We are looking for engineers and technical builders working on the infrastructure behind AI products.
We especially want talks based on direct experience. Tell us about something you built, a problem you hit in production, a design that did not scale, or a technical decision that changed as your product grew.
Topics include
- Metering AI and agent usage
- Credits, quotas, and usage limits
- Entitlements and access rules
- Pricing infrastructure
- Billing infrastructure
- Enterprise contracts and commitments
- AI cost control
- Agent economics
- Moving beyond token-based pricing
- Connecting model costs to what customers buy
- Processing usage at scale
- Supporting multiple models and providers
- Building new units for AI products
This list is not a boundary. If you are working on infrastructure that connects AI usage, cost, product rules, and revenue, we want to hear about it.
What makes a strong submission
Give us a clear problem and a clear takeaway.
Show how the system works. Explain the choices and tradeoffs. Share what you learned from running it in production.
Focused and technical is good. A deep talk about one hard problem is better than a broad overview of the AI economy.
We are particularly interested in the parts that did not go according to plan.
No sales pitches
After Tokens is a place to share technical knowledge, not sell products.
You can talk about technology your company built, but the session should teach the audience something they can use without buying your product.
All sessions will be held in person in San Francisco on November 10, 2026.
