Agentic Coding Summit #1: Why Does My AI Forget Everything?

event date

27 May 2026

location

Online

The Agentic Coding Summit is a new online event series exploring how AI coding tools are changing the way we develop software. Each edition focuses on a specific question.

For our first edition, we're asking: Why does my AI forget everything?

AI coding tools are getting more powerful, but most of them still start every session from scratch. We're looking for practitioners who want to share how they handle memory and context persistence across sessions, what works, what doesn't, and what's missing.

We're looking for 20-minute lightning talks on questions like:

  • Have you built a custom solution to give your AI tools long-term memory?
  • How do you organize and maintain memory across your AI tools?
  • How does your team share AI context and keep everyone's tools in sync?
  • GitHub Copilot Memory and instruction files
  • What's your workflow with Claude Memory?
  • How do you use Cursor Rules or .cursorrules to maintain project context across sessions?
  • What happens when your codebase outgrows the context window? How do you deal with it?
  • Cross-tool comparisons and lessons learned
  • ...

We have seven open slots.

You don't need to be a conference veteran. First-time speakers are very welcome. What matters is that you share from real experience. Please submit a talk title and a short description (5–10 sentences) of what you'd like to share.

The event is online, free, and will take place on May 27, 2026, from 12:00 to 15:30 CET. Talks can be in German or English. All talks will be followed by a roundtable discussion with all speakers.

Hosted by Dr. Matthias Liebeck, .NET developer and AI speaker, organizer of the Azure Düsseldorf Meetup and author of the GitHub Copilot newsletter at ghcp.liebeck.io.
