The Agile2025 organizing committee is proud to announce the call for speakers is open for our next global conference which will be held July 28-30 at the Gaylord Rockies in Denver, Colorado.

We want to focus Agile2025 on solving major issues in our industry. While aspects of the Manifesto have taken root in many organizations, the dream many have had for improving work is facing an identity crisis. Jobs still haven’t rebounded from what they were in the 2010s, and many are wondering how we can respond.

Each of our tracks represents a problem that needs solving and we are looking for real expertise in addressing each one. When crafting your submission, please specify how you plan to address ‘the problem’ within your session. Also, let us know why you’re the expert we need as opposed to the number of times you’ve spoken before.

It’s important to create a diverse and well-rounded program. Multiple perspectives and backgrounds are needed to create a balanced program that makes space for all of us to gather. We invite you to submit if you have a compelling story, practical strategies, or valuable insights. Please review the updated track descriptions below to find a space for your story.

This year we have a single submission deadline which is January 31st. If you haven’t submitted by that date, it will not be considered for inclusion in the 2025 program. Submissions will be limited to one per person, and we will not be doing feedback this year. All sessions will be 75 minutes in length.

We are excited you are considering a submission. You can access links for the honorarium and Agile20xx Code of Conduct. By clicking the submit button below, the prospective speaker agrees to abide by the code of conduct during the submission process.

For helpful tips on submissions, you can find more information here. Our problems to solve this year are:

Why should We use AI to level up?

Agilists face increasing pressure to deliver value faster while maintaining adaptability and collaboration. Step into the future of Agile with our AI for Agile track. As AI technologies rapidly advance, many are unsure how to effectively integrate AI into Agile practices to enhance productivity, decision-making, and innovation. Without clear strategies and tools, teams risk missing opportunities to leverage AI for improving workflows, automating repetitive tasks, and gaining insights that drive continuous improvement. This track explores how Artificial Intelligence is revolutionizing Agile practices, empowering teams, and streamlining workflows while also acknowledging where AI may fall short.

How Can We Turn Agile Failures Into Growth?

“When responding to the problem, the problem is not the problem, even though it might look like it is.” Nora Bateson

We all have problems we are responding to, and often the way we respond fails to give us the desired result. Many times, the only way to explore a wicked problem is by trying something and failing. But how do we seek out failure when customers and colleagues depend on us? How do we know what failure is when working in ever-changing, living environments? How do we see what is going on around us that we don’t even know to look for?

This track focuses on revolutionizing what has historically been considered a failure. Sessions will provide actionable insights for attendees to recognize, confront, and learn from failure. We will offer stories of vulnerability, lessons from the trenches, and the combination of theory and practice.

What are some recent technical innovations to help me, my team, & my organization improve?

As technology rapidly evolves, developers, DevOps engineers, tech leaders, and technical teams face the challenge of staying ahead of emerging trends, modernizing legacy systems, and fostering psychological safety in high-stress roles. There is a growing need for practical solutions to technical challenges, insights into cutting-edge technologies, and soft skills that boost collaboration and productivity. These resources allow teams to stay caught up in innovation, efficiency, and leadership.

Can We Build People-Centered Organizations?

Organizations that can’t manage change effectively waste resources and can damage their business. And while every organization deals with change, it remains unfortunately typical that most change efforts, big or small, routinely fail to deliver desired outcomes.

This happens for two broad reasons:

  • Not taking a systems-first, people-centered approach to change
  • Not baking change leadership and education into the company culture

The sessions in this track will provide attendees with the concepts and practices to deal with your immediate change needs and grow your organization’s future-forward change management capability.

What If They Don't Want Our Help?

“We’re done Transforming. We’re done with Agile.”

We all feel it – companies aren’t investing in Agile training, coaching, or transformations. Some of this undoubtedly is due to the trauma, and some is due to the promises of agility never materializing. The work we do to help people, teams, and organizations is simultaneously needed at every level of our organizations and has been undervalued by the companies we’re looking to help. This dichotomy leaves many agile practitioners wondering, “How do I help someone who doesn’t know they need my help?”

In this track, we’ll examine the different patterns in companies and organizations, to help understand the pains and leverage points to help reignite the desire for change. We’ll look at how we talk about work, and create new ways to anchor agility into outcomes and results.

Where Does My Career Go From Here?

The Agile community is facing significant challenges due to widespread layoffs and reduced opportunities, leading to job insecurity, career stagnation, and confusion. Both experienced Agile coaches and consultants, as well as newcomers to the field, are struggling to navigate these changes and find their place in a shifting job market. Without clear strategies and support, many Agile professionals risk being sidelined or underutilized, impacting their careers and the broader community's growth.

Instead of discussing why the market for our help is in its current state, let’s work together to move forward and create new demand for the work we do.

Come explore some paths through this time of uncertainty with other professionals looking for guidance.
