How many types of tests are there?
Component, Integration, System, Acceptance, Functional, Non-Functional, white & black box, regression, unit, user interface, exploratory, and those that guide development (TDD), organized in "practical test pyramid" or in "quadrant" and so on ...
Whatever it is, testing is an integral part of the development of the code (indeed in some cases, such as TDD, it precedes it!) and its benefits have (or should) came from an increasingly efficient automation capable of keeping up with the introduction of new features.
Very complex systems also provide for the integration of HW and / or microprocessors, in turn technologies that require particular types of tests, often in the absence of software containing all the functionalities.
Finally, recently new development paradigms have been introduced, e.g. linked to the deployment of software packages capable of "learning" (machine learning), where the system response can change according to learning, forcing testers to manage "non-deterministic" test results.

Come sapete, l'emergenza sanitaria ci ha spinti a rivedere l'evento, che sarà ora composto da sessioni remote.
Di consegunza non accettiamo più workshop, e agli speaker chiediamo di tenere in considerazione la nuova modalità di erogazione prevista.
Sul sito e tramite i nostri canali daremo a breve più dettagli.
Per il resto, quanto scritto sotto riguardo ai contenuti delle sessoni rimane valido.

Ci piacerebbe conoscere la vostra esperienza di Tester e QA Engineer e apprendere quali tecniche e strumenti avete trovato efficaci per individuare i punti deboli dei "system under test" .
Sono benvenute sessioni teoriche e pratiche, specialmente se ispirate da esperienze dirette, organizzate in forma di talk o workshop.
In linea di massima prevediamo di organizzare la giornata secondo due track logiche, Principles e Practices.
Quando invierete una proposta, vi verrà chiesto in quale delle due track si posiziona. Scegliete Principles se state proponendo un talk che parli di princìpi, valori e/o idee legati al Testing e alla QA; scegliete Practices invece se proponete uno workshop o un talk che illustri pratiche o tools che avete usato con profitto durante il vostro lavoro.
La scelta sarà solo orientativa e servirà per distribuire al meglio le sessioni durante la giornata.
Per i talk frontali abbiamo previsto una durata di 35', con ulteriori 10' da sfruttare per cambio sala e networking.
I workshop invece dureranno 140', e ce ne sarà uno al mattino ed uno al pomeriggio.
