AI Accelerator Lab is an intensive, hands-on workshop event designed for coders, tech leaders, data scientists, engineers, and innovators ready to move beyond AI hype and into real-world implementation. Unlike traditional conferences filled with panels and presentations, this is a builder-focused lab where participants roll up their sleeves to build, test, and deploy practical AI solutions —starting today.
Over 8 immersive hours (planned for May 30th, at Broward College), attendees dive into small-group workshops (15–30 participants max) covering high-impact topics such as:
Prompt engineering and multi-agentic AI for everyday workflows (ambient documentation, decision support, referral orchestration)
Multimodal AI applications in diagnostics.
Responsible AI governance: bias auditing, risk frameworks, and compliance playbooks
Operational AI for revenue cycle, scheduling, no-show prediction, and workforce optimization
Rapid prototyping of population health and equity interventions
Each session delivers tangible takeaways: custom prompts, GitHub-style templates, decision frameworks, 1-page action plans, and working prototypes built on accessible tools (Jupyter/Colab, open models, synthetic datasets, no-code platforms). Capstone sessions feature team-based rapid prototyping challenges, where participants tackle real organizational problems and pitch solutions for peer and expert feedback.
Who should attend?
Tech practitioners and frontline providers seeking to integrate AI into daily practice
Tech CIOs, CMIOs, and operational leaders driving digital transformation
AI/ML engineers and data scientists applying skills to healthcare challenges
Tech innovators, startups, and researchers bridging lab-to-clinic gaps
Call for Proposals
We invite expert facilitators, innovators, AI practitioners, and tech leaders to propose workshops. Ideal submissions include:
Hands-on, interactive formats with live coding/demos, group exercises, or tool-building
Clear learning objectives and participant deliverables (e.g., prompts, models, templates)
Use of accessible, ethical tools and de-identified/synthetic data
Focus on scalable, real-world impact with proven or emerging techniques
Proposals should outline session structure, required skill level (beginner/intermediate/advanced), tools/datasets needed, and expected outcomes.
