AI Native DevCon Fall Edition 2025

event starts

18 Nov 2025

event ends

19 Nov 2025

location

Brooklyn, New York, United States

  • 18th Nov – Workshops, hackathon, unconference, and more
  • 19th Nov – Keynotes, sessions, demos, party and more

We’re putting together a unique conference solely focused on the impact of AI on the software development lifecycle. As we are a specialized event, it allows us to go deeper and be nerdier about it. We are past simple code completion and completely embrace AI coding Agents into our process.

We’ve already built two virtual events (see past recordings on our YouTube channel 2024 / 2025) and various meetups. Now, we’re proud to announce our first in-person edition in Brooklyn, New York—spanning two full days, November 18–19, 2025.

  • Day One delivers keynotes, technical sessions, live demos, and our evening conference party.
  • Day Two is all about hands-on learning with workshops, hackathons, and unconference sessions where you can build, experiment, and collaborate with fellow AI-native devs.

We expect roughly 300-400 AI native dev enthusiasts and pioneers. We’d love to have you talk or participate in the event!

Topic areas

So, what will we talk about? To encourage deeper, more focused discussions, we’ve outlined a set of topic areas to dive into the subjects that matter most.

Specs - Defining and Managing Requirements

  • Spec-driven development: from intent to full multi-modal design requirements
  • Converting legacy code into structured specifications
  • Turning evolving specs into actionable, trackable tasks while keeping code in sync

Generate – Improving Code Creation

  • Advanced LLM and prompt techniques for code generation
  • Context management and tool integrations (MCP, A2A, LSP)
  • Parallelized/swarm coding for faster delivery

Review – Ensuring Quality and Security

  • Scalable code review, testing, and QA for generated output
  • Guardrails and security best practices for AI-assisted coding
  • Deployment readiness and automated assessment

Learn – Continuous Human & Agent Improvement

  • Shared memory, modularity, and code reuse across agents
  • Metrics, ROI tracking, and success measurement for AI coding
  • Human-in-the-loop feedback and knowledge management

Stories – Lessons and Futures

  • Transformations in companies adopting AI in the software lifecycle
  • Career impacts and skill shifts in the AI-native era
  • Building AI code products and predicting future patterns

Note: The examples are indicative and non-exhaustive. And if any of these topics don't fit, no worries, we’ll have an “Other” option for you.

How to Stand Out & Get Picked

We expect a high volume of submissions, so here’s how to give yours the best shot at making it onto the AI Native DevCon stage:

  • Know your audience: Assume attendees already understand the basics of AI code generation.
  • Stay on-topic: We focus on AI in relation to code, not general AI & agents.
  • Go deep, not wide: Avoid broad overviews. Get specific, technical, and “nerdy” in the best way.
  • Write a real abstract: Put in the effort to clearly explain your session. Don’t just drop keywords or vague teasers.
  • Craft a clear, catchy title: Make it engaging, but ensure it reflects the actual content.
  • Help us visualize your talk: Include links to past talks, slide decks, or demos if available.
  • Keep it practical: Avoid being overly “meta” without tangible takeaways.
  • Showcase tools with intent: Demonstrating a tool to make a point is great in a regular talk, but don’t turn it into a product pitch. Save product-focused demos for the Tools in Action track.

Tracks

We’ve laid out 3 different tracks accommodating different levels of experience and interest:

  • Now: technology that is available today and ready to use for a wide audience
  • Edge: emerging & fringe ideas that need a bit more polish before hitting the masses
  • Tools in Action: demos! Showcase your tool, it’s special powers, and how to use it

This allows us to balance between tool-centric and more conceptual talks, and also showcase emerging tech that builds the future of AI Native Developers.

Talk formats

The conference is a full day of talks with three tracks, but we want to hear as many voices and ideas as possible. Therefore, we restrict the talks in time. We understand that it can be challenging to fit all your thoughts in 20min but we found that it drives speakers to focus and get to the “meat” faster..

Day 1: 18th Nov

  • Workshops: (60–120 min) – Hands-on, interactive sessions for smaller groups. Ideal for teaching a skill, guiding attendees through building something, or running collaborative exercises.
  • Community Sessions (30–45 min) – Informal, participant-driven gatherings such as panel discussions, Q&As, or topic roundtables. Perfect for sharing experiences, debating ideas, or exploring emerging trends together.

Day 2: 19th Nov

  • Talk: 20min - strictly timed, maybe 1 or 2 audience questions
  • Demo: 20min - for the tools in action track
  • Ignite: 5min - fun format with 15 slides auto advancing every 20 seconds - If you aren’t familiar with the format, good examples can be found at http://igniteshow.com/

Even if you’re not selected to speak at the event, we might like your talk so much that we’ll ask you to record it and we will share it with the world on our YouTube channel.

Submit now!

We look forward to reading your proposals! Don’t hold back with ideas and topics.

Also, don’t wait until the last minute, as we’ll be gradually approving talks.

📅 Important Dates

  • ⏳ CFP Closes: 3rd October 2025
  • 🎤 AI Native DevCon: Nov 18&19, 2025

🌈 Celebrating Diversity

We’re committed to amplifying underrepresented voices in tech. If you’re a person of color, a woman, LGBTQ+, have a disability, or a student—we strongly encourage you to submit! Your perspective matters.

🚫 No Vendor Pitches Allowed

This is a knowledge-sharing conference, not a sales event. If your talk is about selling a product instead of delivering insights, it’s not the right fit.
