AI Engineer runs the most loved and most viewed technical conferences in AI for engineers, with over >15M views of our talks online (the last AIE NYC drew over 1.5M monthly unique engineers online). We are back in NYC for the third time this year, from Oct 12 to Oct 14!

AIE NYC will be the largest AIE flagship event ever held in New York, with over 1,500 AI Engineers, researchers and founders live in person and hundreds of thousands tuning in online from all over the world. Traditionally we bring in speakers from Fortune 500s to startups to big labs like OpenAI, DeepMind and Anthropic, but this year, with past speakers from Morgan Stanley, BlackRock, Capital One, Bloomberg, Jane Street, Fidelity and more, we are making our mainstage track focus on the rising role of AI in Financial Services, while leaving room for evergreen discussions on evals and infra.

AIE is a top technical industry conference. This is a highly competitive process with a historical acceptance rate of 5-15%. IF YOU ARE COMPLETELY NEW TO US, BROWSING OUR YOUTUBE SHOULD GIVE YOU A GOOD IDEA OF OUR CONTENT/AUDIENCE.

NOTE: FOR MAINSTAGE KEYNOTES, WE WILL NOT ACCEPT VENDOR-ONLY TALKS. This is a simple anti-sales-pitch policy similar to AIE NYC 2025. If you are not technically in financial services, but sell tooling to FIs, we encourage you to recommend a top customer/champion to speak instead about their experience/principles/architecture/war stories/technical insights. You may co-present if it helps them.

As with all our conferences, this rule does not apply to workshops, leadership, expo, or booth sessions; we find that vendor sessions actually are well received there! (just don't be boring)

If you're not sure about your proposal, just try it anyway. We are beginner friendly (many of us got our start at a conference just like this one) and we are actively seeking future stars that we hope to grow with (Will Brown, Dex Horthy, Daniel Han and Mahesh Murag are example speakers that did their first talk with us). See below for tips.

Key dates for speakers:

Aug 15: Target date for wave 1 acceptances

Sept 1: Target date for wave 2 acceptances

Sept 15: Final wave announcements!

Submit Your Proposal

We invite you to submit your abstract and speaker information through this portal. Every submission goes through real human review. You are highly encouraged to:

  • if you are new to speaking, you can read this article on how to write a CFP and pick talk genres/topics.
  • pick non-boring titles (you CAN change your mind later) and look at the best talks from past AIE confs and peer conferences like PyConJSConf, GDC, Goto, and StrangeLoop. Your chances are ~epsilon if you simply resubmit talks that would look at home at generic AI conferences (not naming names but you know who).
  • MULTIPLE submissions are ok (just don't spam us) - you don't need to guess at what we want and you CAN tweak titles/abstracts in discussion with us later - we just need to know the rough direction of what 1-5 topics you could possibly speak about and what your vision for your talk is.

Session Formats (we may ask you to switch formats based on availablity/suitability)

  • Workshop (1-2 hours) - hands on sessions or technical deep dives
  • Stage Talk (15-20 mins) - keynotes, live demos, paper presentations. Most talks are this format.
  • Lightning Talk (5-10 mins) - launches/hot takes/fun rants
  • Online Talk (5-55 mins) - prerecorded, very free form, no stress IRL, same exposure online. We historically have more worthwhile proposals than talk slots, so we may "waitlist" your talk anyway for our online track. Getting accepted to online track AND successfully submitting your prerecorded talk gets you a free ticket to attend and puts you first in line as a backup speaker should someone drop out last minute.

During your session, we encourage you to dive right into the content with minimal self-introduction as the MC will introduce you with a bit of background. Unless you specifically opt out, your talk will be professionally recorded, edited and published on our YouTube page, X, and LinkedIn for free distribution, on a reasonable timeline within days to months after the event. Top speakers have higher chances of being invited back.

Sponsoring the AIE Expo

Although every AIE conference is made possible by our incredible sponsors, CFP talk acceptances are made without consideration to sponsorship status. However,  we put a LOT of work into having a worthwhile expo, and an Expo presence is an excellent way for you to extend your marketing and recruiting presence before/after your talk, and many come with guaranteed speaking slots.

Email sponsorships@ai.engineer with what you are looking for. In recent years, Expo slots sell out roughly a month prior to each event. Multi-event deals are possible.
