Welcome to AlmaLinux Day: Los Angeles 2026

Where Open Source meets the Silver Screen.

Welcome to AlmaLinux Day: Los Angeles 2026—a full-day, community-powered gathering celebrating the intersection of enterprise Linux and creative innovation. Positioned right alongside SIGGRAPH 2026, this event brings together the architects of the world’s most demanding digital pipelines.

Join fellow VFX pros, pipeline engineers, sysadmins, students, freelancers, and open-source enthusiasts for a day of technical deep dives, networking, and hands-on collaboration. Whether you are scaling a massive render farm, securing a studio’s intellectual property, or optimizing workstations for real-time performance, this is where the "engine under the hood" takes center stage.

Let’s build, learn, and shape the future of creative infrastructure—together.

What to Expect:

Performance-Driven Talks: Deep dives into how we empower the world's most powerful workstations and servers.

Studio & Pipeline Showcases: Real-world case studies on AlmaLinux within VFX, animation, and M&E environments.

The Tech Stack: Expert sessions on cybersecurity and what’s next for AlmaLinux in the media industry.

A Collaborative Hub: A welcoming, vendor-neutral environment built for the open-source community.

Exclusive Perks: Limited-edition swag and gear to fuel your week at SIGGRAPH. (And who knows? This might be your chance to snag a limited-edition bobblehead before the big show starts—stay tuned!)
