location

Microsoft Malaysia Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

website

New to aMS? What was formerly aOS, is the largest community led event focused on Azure, Microsoft365 and SharePoint.

With the easing of Covid restrictions and borders reopening, we are once again hosting aMS as a in-person event at Microsoft Malaysia, with an option, we hope if logistics allow, to also screen sessions hybrid.

This would mean however, that due to space constraints at Microsoft Malaysia, we would likely only consider in-person speakers only

Entry Requirements into Malaysia : https://faq.mysafetravel.gov.my/

You can checkout our previous in person event aOSKL 2019 here. https://aoskl19.com/

For overseas speakers itching to travel (and speak at the same time), we are coordinating this with aMS Singapore team. aOSKL will be on 27th October and aMS Singapore would likely  be held on 29th October, so you can speak at 2 events on the same trip. Do check the aMS Singapore CFS page specific to their event. As of this time (12 July)  the aMS Singapore team is trying to nail down their venue.

Covid note - We are currently only accepting in-person speakers and  if you are not currently vaccinated (or partially) we may not be able to accommodate you, in part due to more stringent entry requirements by the Malaysia immigration, and also the peace of mind of the attendees.

We are looking for sessions which focus on or compliment  Microsoft 365  with Azure as a supporting technology (for example Viva, PowerApps, Defender, Azure AD or Azure AI with SharePoint - preferably no pure Azure sessions).  Duration for each session is 45 minutes, with 10 mins of Q&A afterwards.

For the Education topics, we are looking for topics that relate to Microsoft's Education Transformation Framework, Online / Hybrid learning, Minecraft for Education, Azure Lab Services, Intune for education, LMS integrations, Showcase Schools or even how you helped teams win the Imagine cup. Any inspiring and useful topics to help educators adjust to this new world centered around Microsoft Edu Tech would be considered.

You can submit as many sessions as you want. However, please note that depending on the number of submissions, we will quite likely only pick a maximum of 1 session per speaker to allow more people to get the chance to present at our event.

You don't have to be a Microsoft MVP or regular speaker to submit, we encourage anyone who has an interesting topic to present on to submit here! We are looking forward to receiving submissions from a diverse range of people!

We are looking for content meant for 4 types of audiences
    Business
    IT Pro
    Developers
    Education
