The Analysis, Design, & Architecture Conference (ADAConf) is an Australian one-day community conference for those interested in software analysis, design and architecture. It is an off-shoot of the Domain-Driven Design Australia meetup community.

ADAConf’s mission is to support the building of software that is more valuable for its users and owners, more pleasant to work with for its builders and maintainers, and more collaborative in its conception and design.

We aim to create a collaborative learning space, and bring together engineers, architects, business analysts and product people.

What we want to talk about

This year our conference theme is Change. We’re exploring how software architecture evolves and adapts in response to shifting business and technical landscapes. We’re looking for talks on:

  • Evolutionary architecture practices – how systems can adapt over time
  • Responding to change – design & architecture practices to facilitate responding to change
  • Predicting Change - modelling & analysis techniques that enable predicting change
  • Socio-technical Systems Thinking – mitigating the risk and impact of unexpected change across the organisation
  • Novel approaches - techniques that challenge best practices
  • Case Studies - case studies, experience reports & retrospectives

We welcome case studies, experience reports, code demos, and retrospectives that share practical insights and real-world learnings.

New speaker support

If you are a new and/or emerging speaker with an idea that aligns to our mission, we want to hear from you and support you. We offer mentorship for new speakers and would love to have a chat about any other support you might require. Contact us at info@adaconf.org.
