Call for Papers – Share Your Expertise at apc|m 2026 in Sicily!

From April 28–30, 2026, the European advanced process control and manufacturing (apc|m) Conference will take place at the Four Points by Sheraton Catania Hotel & Conference Center – a stunning venue on the coast of Sicily. We look forward to welcoming participants from across Germany, Europe, and around the globe to this unique gathering of minds.

This is your opportunity to present your innovations, solutions, and real-world applications to a highly engaged audience of industry professionals and researchers. Showcase your expertise, connect with potential partners and clients, and contribute to shaping the future of advanced manufacturing – all in a relaxed and inspiring Mediterranean setting.

We are now accepting submissions for the 2026 conference program and invite you to contribute your ideas and insights. The Call for Papers is open until December 31 – all submission details can be found below.

We especially welcome abstracts that highlight practical applications of data analytics and AI in semiconductor manufacturing, including (but not limited to) the following topics:

  • Black Box vs. Grey Box vs. White Box – How to combine engineering expertise with ML/AI methods
  • Industry 4.h – Merging artificial and human intelligence to accelerate learning and apply best practices (e.g., process learning, smart repair)
  • Data Infrastructure – Experiences with data lakes vs. legacy database systems
  • Collaborative Innovation – Building trustful data exchange with universities and external partners, e.g., via (public) cloud platforms
