Platform Engineering is rapidly becoming a cornerstone of how organizations design, operate, and scale their Azure environments. In 2026, the Azure Platform Engineering Meetup brings together practitioners who are building secure, compliant, and scalable Azure platforms that truly enable development teams.

We are looking for speakers who are hands-on, opinionated, and willing to share real-world experiences—both successes and lessons learned.

Why speak?

  • Share your knowledge with a like-minded Azure community
  • Get feedback and insights from peers facing similar challenges
  • Build your personal and professional profile in the Azure ecosystem

We value honesty over perfection and learning over marketing. Sales-driven talks will not be accepted.

👉 Submit your session and help shape the Azure Platform Engineering conversation in 2026.

What we’re looking for

We welcome sessions that cover practical, experience-based topics, including (but not limited to):

  • Designing and evolving Azure landing zones
  • Platform Engineering vs. traditional cloud operations
  • Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) on Azure
  • Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform, Pulumi)
  • Policy as Code and governance at scale
  • Secure-by-default Azure platforms
  • Self-service subscription vending and automation
  • CI/CD and GitOps for platform teams
  • Observability, reliability, and platform operations
  • FinOps and cost control within Azure platforms
  • AI-enabled platforms and enabling AI workloads safely on Azure

Both technical deep dives and strategic/architectural talks are welcome, as long as they are grounded in real practice.

Session format

  • Duration: ~50 minutes (including Q&A)
  • Level: Intermediate to advanced (introductory talks are welcome if they offer strong practical value)
  • Style: Preferably demo-driven, architecture-focused, or experience-based
  • Language: Dutch (preferred)

Who should submit

  • Platform Engineers
  • Cloud Architects
  • DevOps / SRE professionals
  • Security & Governance specialists
  • Engineers building or operating Azure platforms at scale

You do not need to be a professional speaker—if you are actively working with Azure platforms and have something valuable to share, we want to hear from you.
