Who Should Apply ?

You don't need to be a keynote veteran or industry celebrity. We're looking for anyone who:

  • Has built something in Microsoft Fabric and wants to walk others through it
  • Has real-world experience with data engineering, analytics, or business intelligence on Microsoft Fabric
  • Wants to share a lesson learned, a workflow that works, or a problem they solved
  • Is a student or early-career professional with a project they're proud of

If you know something others would benefit from hearing, that's enough.

Code of conduct

The Arlington Microsoft Fabric User Group is a welcoming, inclusive space where people of all backgrounds and experience levels — including young learners and students — come to grow their knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and data technologies. We ask that all speakers and attendees honor that spirit by following these simple guidelines:

  • Keep it professional. All content, language, and interactions should be respectful, appropriate, and suitable for a diverse audience that includes students and early-career learners.
  • Guests must be verified members. If you'd like to invite friends or colleagues to a session, they are welcome — but they must join the group and be verified before being admitted to the meeting. Unverified guests will not be granted access.
  • Let us know who's coming. If you plan to bring guests, you're welcome to include a list of invitees in your speaker submission so we can ensure a smooth verification process ahead of time.

We are building a community where everyone feels safe to learn, ask questions, and engage openly. Speakers who embrace this code of conduct are the kind of voices we want on our stage.

Session Format

We welcome a range of formats — step-by-step demos, case studies, lessons learned, beginner tutorials, and more. If you have an idea for a session, we'd love to hear it.
