AWS Community Day - West Africa: Innovation and Security in the Cloud (Call For Speakers)

Last year, we held our first in-person AWS security summit. This year, we want to give you the best experience by expanding it to be the globally recognized AWS Community Day event.
The theme for this year's Community Day is "Innovation and Security in the Cloud: Navigating the Future." The theme highlights the importance of balancing innovation with security in the fast-evolving world of cloud computing.
The event will feature topics such as cloud security best practices, emerging threats, compliance, identity and access management, security automation, and cloud-native security solutions.
Speakers would include AWS experts, security professionals, and thought leaders who have experience in both security and innovation in the cloud. We would also feature interactive sessions, hands-on workshops, and networking opportunities to help attendees learn from each other and build their skills and knowledge.
The goal of the community day would be to empower attendees to navigate the complex landscape of cloud security and innovation and to help them stay ahead of emerging threats while leveraging the latest cloud technologies to drive business growth.

Call for Speakers: AWS Community Day West Africa
We are excited to announce the Call for Speakers for the upcoming AWS Community Day West Africa! We are seeking passionate individuals with extensive knowledge and experience in various aspects of AWS technologies, particularly in the fields of AI, Security, IoT, and DevOps. If you have successfully implemented AWS solutions in previous projects and are eager to share your insights and best practices with the community, this is an opportunity you don't want to miss.
We are looking for sessions that cover a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) on AWS
- AWS Security best practices and compliance
- IoT solutions and architectures using AWS services
- DevOps and CI/CD pipelines with AWS tools and services
- Real-world project experiences and case studies showcasing successful AWS implementations
If you have a compelling story to tell, valuable lessons learned, or innovative approaches in any of these areas, we encourage you to submit your session proposal. By sharing your knowledge and expertise, you can inspire and educate fellow AWS enthusiasts, fostering a strong and vibrant AWS community in West Africa.
Key Information:
Each session will be 30 minutes with an extra 10 minutes for Quiz (40 minutes in total).
Unfortunately, we are not able to cover for travel + hotel expenses but this may be included in our future conferences.
