AWS Student Community Day Pune 2026

event date

4 Apr 2026

location

Cloud 99 Banquet, Phase 1, Hinjawadi Pune, India

AWS Student Community Day is a student-led cloud gathering curated by the AWS Cloud Club at PICT, created especially for students who are curious about cloud, passionate about technology, and ready to explore what’s next.

This one-day single-track event is thoughtfully designed for students and early-career learners who want clarity, direction, and real insight into the cloud ecosystem. Whether you are just starting out or already exploring AWS, CloudCraft meets you where you are.

The event focuses on the core pillars shaping modern cloud systems today. Sessions are thoughtfully structured as one cohesive journey, helping you connect concepts, understand real-world applications, and see how different domains come together in practice.

At its heart, CloudCraft reflects the spirit of PICT, focused learning, strong fundamentals, and a community that supports each other. Organized by students, for students, this event aims to inspire confidence, curiosity, and long-term interest in cloud technology.

We welcome sessions covering basics to deep dives on AWS services across key cloud domains including Serverless, Containers, Databases, DevOps & SRE, Infrastructure as Code, AI/ML, Generative AI, Analytics, and Data/ML Platforms.

As a student-first cloud conference, we particularly value real-world production deep dives, architecture walkthroughs, incident learnings and remediations, cost optimization strategies, and scaling stories. Sessions should be purely technical in nature. Marketing pitches or promotional content will not be accepted.

AWS Cloud Categories :

Serverless: AWS Lambda, Fargate, API Gateway, Step Functions, event-driven architectures, performance optimization, and scaling patterns.

Containers: Amazon EKS, ECS, Karpenter, orchestration strategies, cluster security, autoscaling, and multi-cluster operations.

Databases: Amazon RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora, performance tuning, backups, high availability, and migration case studies.

DevOps & SRE: CI/CD pipelines, observability (CloudWatch, Prometheus), reliability engineering, monitoring practices, and incident response.

Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, automation workflows, and GitOps practices.

AI/ML & Generative AI: Amazon SageMaker, Bedrock, model deployment pipelines, LLM integrations, MLOps fundamentals, and ethical AI at scale.

Analytics & Data Platforms: Amazon Redshift, AWS Glue, Lake Formation, data pipelines, analytics architectures, and cost-efficient data platforms.

Other: If your topic does not fall into the above categories but aligns with AWS Cloud, emerging technologies, security, architecture design, or innovative cloud use cases, we encourage you to propose it. Unique and impactful ideas are welcome.

Real-Life Use Cases

Production deployments, migrations, cost optimizations, scaling experiences, system failure lessons, post-mortem analyses, and hybrid or multi-cloud integrations are strongly encouraged.

We especially appreciate sessions that simplify complex cloud concepts for students while maintaining strong technical depth.

Pro Tip: Submissions that include live demos, architecture diagrams, GitHub repositories, or code walkthroughs will receive priority evaluation and have a strong edge in selection.

Duration: 25–30 Minutes
