We bring together intermediate developers, entry-level engineers, and cloud enthusiasts for talks, live demos, and networking. If you have real-world AWS experience or an idea worth sharing, we want to hear from you.

We are now accepting session proposals for Cloud Connect Johannesburg 2025, hosted by AWS User Group Mzansi. This is a free, in-person community event for 50 cloud practitioners in Johannesburg.
We welcome submissions from first-time speakers and seasoned presenters alike. You do not need to be an AWS expert — if you have built something, learnt something, or have a story worth telling, submit it.
Topics we love: AWS architecture & best practices · Serverless & containers · Data & ML on AWS · DevOps & platform engineering · Cloud security · Real-world case studies · Career paths in cloud · Cost optimisation
We especially encourage submissions intermediate talks and workshops that lead to a practical application of what is being taught. If credits are required for your workshop then please indicate that on your submission.
