These sessions can include comprehensive narratives, live demonstrations, detailed code walkthroughs, and case studies, offering attendees a robust exploration of complex concepts, strategies, and innovative solutions using Azure Cosmos DB and related technologies.

This year we’ll also introduce 5-minute lightning talks. Lightning talks provide a dynamic five-minute platform at Azure Cosmos DB Conference 2025 for sharing concise, impactful insights. They complement the longer sessions by delivering quick snapshots on topics like intelligent applications, innovative use cases, integration strategies, or data migration best practices. This format energizes the event, making complex ideas accessible and memorable, while encouraging a broader range of speakers to share their experiences succinctly and spark lively discussion.

This year, we invite you to submit proposals focusing on:

• Intelligent Applications with AI and Azure Cosmos DB: Dive into how Azure Cosmos DB, in tandem with artificial intelligence, can power intelligent, forward-thinking applications. We're looking for submissions that explore how to build AI-enabled applications using Azure Cosmos DB vector database capabilities with Large Language Models (LLMs) from OpenAI Service that leverage any of the AI orchestration tools including Semantic Kernel, LangChain, and LlamaIndex.
• Design patterns and best practices: Focus on proven design patterns and best practices to build robust applications and to do data modeling effectively to increase efficiency, scalability, performance, consistency and maintainability of a NoSQL solution.
• Innovative and Specific Use Cases: Move beyond the basics and share detailed narratives of unique customer scenarios where Azure Cosmos DB was pivotal. Your presentation should highlight the specific challenges encountered and the innovative solutions devised. Some ideas for use case examples include: connected smart products, transaction processing at scale, real-time fraud detection, service and support bot, information and product discovery, personalization and recommendations, and building your own GenAI application.
• Focus on Specific Programming Languages and tools: Focus on how the Azure Cosmos DB SDK is utilized in popular programming languages like Python, Node.js, and Java. Share your experience in building solutions using open-source frameworks, and tools such as Visual Studio Code, GitHub, and Azure Data Studio. Your insights should delve into developer productivity and extensibility of the solution.
• Demonstration-Heavy Content: We highly encourage submissions that are abundant in live demonstrations or code. This practical, hands-on approach will provide a more immersive and engaging experience for our audience.
• Data Migration Sessions: We are seeking papers that address the critical aspect of data migration to Azure Cosmos DB. Share your expertise and experiences in the complexities, strategies, and best practices for effective data migration.
• Integration with Azure Ecosystem: Explore the implementation of Azure Cosmos DB with other Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure OpenAI Service, and others, highlighting how these integrations enhance application scalability, performance, and intelligence.
