For over 15 years, the Bay Area Drupal Camp has gathered thousands from a worldwide community of Drupal users, developers, marketers, and content specialists to share their expertise, level up their skills, make new friends in the intellectual and cultural heart of the Bay Area. Whether it's your first time attending or your tenth, we look forward to seeing you in October!

Events and Timelines

At BADCamp, you'll get a chance to learn from the best, see old friends, make new connections, and walk away refreshed, inspired—and a little bit smarter, too.

Sessions & Talks

You'll learn something whether you're new to Drupal or already a pro. There will be two days full of great sessions for all levels of interest. Plus, this year we're trying something new—we're inviting sessions on topics that aren't exactly on Drupal but are related to Drupal.

Networking

Looking for a job? Looking to find great Drupal talent? BADCamp is a great place to find either.

Summits

Summits allow people in specific industries or with specific skill sets to dive deep into the issues that matter and collaborate freely.

Trainings

Level up your Drupal and Drupal adjacent skills at this year’s BADCamp!

Volunteer

Volunteering is a great way to interact and become more involved in the community. See familiar faces and meet new ones. We are always looking for people to help.

Everybody's favorite Drupal Camp is fast approaching!

We promise to deliver the most forward-thinking Drupal knowledge out there — but we need a little help from our friends.

Be a part of humans sharing knowledge by giving a presentation at the 13th annual BADCamp.

Our Call For Speakers is open! We want sessions that work in any of these tracks:

  • Content, Marketing and Martec
  • Development and Coding
  • DevOps
  • Leadership, Management and  Business
  • Site building
  • User experience, Accessibility & Design

And we're trying something a bit different this year.

We'd like to hear from you on topics that are related to Drupal but may not be exactly about Drupal.

Do you think that AI is going to affect content management (and thus Drupal)? Do you want to share how front-end JavaScript frameworks are evolving? We want you to submit those, too.

But don't forget the basics of Drupal—we want those session topics because Drupal is still evolving quickly.

Do you have knowledge to share about Single Directory Components? Have you been tracking the new features of Drupal 11 and want to share what's new? Have you been experimenting with Recipes or with Automatic Updates? Maybe you've been working on the new Project Browser? We want to hear about all of that!

Submission Requirements

Before submitting a session proposal, we recommend that you:

Speaker Resources

We want to support you as a speaker along your journey.

  • Pre-submission mentoring — We know submitting a conference proposal can be intimidating, especially for newer speakers. Join the channel below and ask for support.
  • The #session-help Slack channel is dedicated to submission support and feedback (this channel is in the BADCamp Slack workspace).
  •  Review the Speaker Diversity Workshop Presentation.

Looking for more inspiration? Check out the videos from previous years' camps.

A BIG magical BADcamp thank you to our sponsors who have committed early. Without them, this magical event wouldn’t be possible. We are also looking for MORE sponsors to help keep BADCamp free and awesome. Interested in sponsoring BADCamp? Contact info@badcamp.org.
