Get ready to share your knowledge and expertise! The Bay Area Drupal Camp (BADCamp) 2025 is just around the corner, and we are excited to announce that the call for session proposals will be opening in the coming months. Join us in Oakland on September 25-26, 2025, at OAKStop for another engaging event dedicated to the Drupal community. For over 16 years, BADCamp has served as a gathering place for thousands from around the world, and we look forward to continuing this tradition by showcasing the latest insights and developments in the Drupal ecosystem.

BADCamp brings together a diverse, worldwide community of Drupal users, developers, marketers, and content specialists. This is your opportunity to share your expertise, help others level up their skills, and connect with peers. We are seeking proposals that cover a wide range of topics relevant to the Drupal community, reflecting the varied interests and skills of our attendees. Whether you have insights on web development, AI, site building, performance, security, design, content strategy, marketing with Drupal, or leveraging related technologies, we want to hear from you.

Everybody's favorite Drupal Camp is fast approaching!

We promise to deliver the most forward-thinking Drupal knowledge out there — but we need a little help from our friends.

Be a part of humans sharing knowledge by giving a presentation at the 14th annual BADCamp.

Our Call For Speakers is open! We want sessions that work in any of these tracks:

    • AI
    • Content, Marketing and Martec
    • Development and Coding
    • DevOps
    • Leadership, Management and Business
    • Site building
    • User experience, Accessibility & Design

And we're trying something a bit different this year. We'd like to hear from you on topics that are related to Drupal but may not be exactly about Drupal.

Do you think that AI is going to affect content management (and thus Drupal)? Do you want to share how front-end JavaScript frameworks are evolving? We want you to submit those, too.

But don't forget the basics of Drupal—we want those session topics because Drupal is still evolving quickly!

Do you have knowledge to share about Single Directory Components? Have you been tracking the new features of Drupal 11 and want to share what's new? Have you been experimenting with Recipes or with Automatic Updates? Maybe you've been working on the new Project Browser? We want to hear about all of that!

Submission Requirements

Before submitting a session proposal, we recommend that you:

  1.  Acquaint yourself with BADCamp’s Code of Conduct. All speakers will be required to adhere to this code.
  2.  Create a Drupal.org account — BADCamp gives Drupal Community attributions for speakers.

Speaker Resources

We want to support you as a speaker along your journey.

Pre-submission mentoring — We know submitting a conference proposal can be intimidating, especially for newer speakers. Join the channel below and ask for support.

A BIG magical BADcamp thank you to our sponsors who have committed early. Without them, this magical event wouldn’t be possible. We are also looking for MORE sponsors to help keep BADCamp free and awesome. Interested in sponsoring BADCamp? Contact info@badcamp.org.
