We invite you to submit your proposals for bit summit 2026. We are looking for content that challenges the status quo and provides actionable insights for the tech community.

Core Themes:

  • Engineering Excellence: Cloud-native, Architecture, Security, and DevOps.
  • Future Tech: AI/ML, Quantum Computing, and Web3.
  • Tech Ethics & Society: (New Focus!) Discussion on AI bias, sustainable coding, data privacy, and the social impact of the technologies we build.
  • Developer Culture: Leadership, Mentoring, and Mental Health in Engineering.

Available Formats:

  • Standard Session (45 min): Deep-dive presentation including 5-10 min Q&A.
  • Lightning Talk (15 min): Fast-paced, punchy ideas or demos.
  • Interactive Workshop (90 - 120 min): Hands-on sessions. Please specify any technical requirements (e.g., pre-installed software) in your description.

Review Process:

All submissions will be reviewed by our program committee based on technical depth, relevance, and original content. We prefer real-world experience over theoretical overviews.

As a community-driven but professional summit, we fully support our speakers. Please note the following conditions for reimbursement/cost coverage:

Accommodation:
We book and pay for up to 2 nights at the official speaker hotel in Hamburg, in walking distance to the venue.

Full Access:
Your speaker pass includes all sessions, workshops, and our Exclusive Speaker Dinner the night before the event.

Workshop Support:
For workshop hosts, we provide necessary infrastructure (power, high-speed Wi-Fi). Any special hardware must be coordinated with us in advance.

Travel Policy:
To ensure a diverse range of voices, we provide 2nd-class train tickets for everyone. Flight costs (up to 400€ EU / 900€ overseas) are reimbursed exclusively for independent speakers or in cases where your employer cannot cover the costs. If you have corporate backing, we kindly ask that you use your company's travel budget to help us support those without it.

We value your expertise. All speakers receive a full conference pass and 2 nights of accommodation. We cover 2nd-class train travel for everyone; flight reimbursements are specifically reserved for independent contributors and speakers without corporate travel support to help us foster a diverse lineup.
