Security BSides Albuquerque 2024 - call for Participation (CFP)

IMPORTANT: BSides Albuquerque 2024 is an in-person event!

If you accept it, you will need to deliver your session in person at TBD in Albuquerque, New Mexico!

25 minute presentation + 5 minute Q&A

Submissions will consist of the following:

  • Title of your presentation/workshop
  • Abstract (description) summarizing your presentation or workshop (max. 500 words)
  • Duration of your presentation
  • Have you already presented this topic elsewhere? (If Yes, at which event? What was the title?)
  • Speaker Bio (max. 150 words)
  • Name/Nickname/Twitter Handle (to appear on our Speakers List)
  • Photo/Avatar (to appear on our Speakers List)

Workshop submissions require additional fields:

  • Any specific requirements for the workshop? (e.,g. servers setup)
  • What must participants have? (e.g., laptop, OS, cables, etc.)
  • Workshop length
  • Maximum number of participants


Process

Our CFP Review Board is a diverse set of IT and Information Security Professionals from around the globe. BSides ABQ decided to actively search for reviewers that could bring unique perspectives, experience, and talent to our Call for Papers Review. We are incredibly proud of our reviewers and our Blind CFP process. We believe our BSides ABQ Review Board helps us improve our conference, and we can’t thank them enough for their effort.


Expenses coverage

Note: We regret to inform that as a non-profit organization, we're unable to offer speaker or travel stipends. We greatly appreciate your understanding and value your contribution to our community. Thank you for considering participation despite these limitations.


Visa sponsorship

Unfortunately, we won't be able to help you with any visa sponsorship requirements. However, we can undoubtedly provide a letter of acceptance and an invitation to participate at BSides ABQ.
