BSides Huntsville 2027 is a community-driven information security conference built by and for the local and regional security, hacker, maker, and technology communities.
BSides is about participation, not passive attendance. Participants are encouraged to share knowledge, ask questions, build things, break things, and learn from one another in an inclusive, welcoming environment.
Expect a mix of talks, workshops, and hands-on activities covering offensive and defensive security, hardware hacking, RF, OSINT, cloud, AppSec, privacy, and everything in between.
BSides Huntsville values practical content, honest lessons learned, and curiosity. Whether you’re a first-time speaker, a seasoned professional, a student, or a hobbyist — you belong here.
BSides Huntsville runs a fair, open, and community-focused Call for Presenters.
Everyone is welcome to submit proposals — first-time speakers, experienced presenters, practitioners, researchers, students, and hobbyists. If you have something useful, interesting, educational, or hard-earned to share, we want to hear it.
We accept a wide range of session formats, including:
• Talks
• Workshops
• Hands-on labs
• Live demos
• Villages and interactive sessions
Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):
• Offensive and defensive security
