BSides events combine security expertise from a variety of platforms in search of the “next big thing” in information security. BSides is an open platform that gives security experts and industry professionals the opportunity so share ideas, insights, and develop longstanding relationships with others in the community. It is a rare opportunity to directly connect and create trusted relationships with key members of the community.

Security BSides Kraków — Call for Papers

What to submit

  • Title
  • Abstract (see limits below)
  • Speaker(s): name, role/affiliation, email, social links (X/Twitter, LinkedIn), short bio (≤100 words), picture.

Formats & limits

  • Talks (up to 60 min): recommended 45 min talk + 15 min Q&A. Abstract limit: ≤150 words.
  • Workshops/Trainings (2–8 hours): hands-on or deep-dive. Abstract limit: ≤200 words.

Please keep abstracts concise and within the word limits.

Language

The conference is held in English only. All submissions (titles, abstracts, bios, slides) must be in English.

Multi-speaker submissions

If more than one speaker, include complete details for each person.

Rookie & lightning talks

For 5–15 minute lightning or rookie sessions, email contact@bsideskrakow.pl for details.

Vendor-neutral policy

We do not accept product or vendor pitches, unless to a Business Village or something exclusive for that. Submissions must be educational and community-oriented. Talks submitted by third parties (e.g., PR agencies, management bureaus) are not accepted.

Selection & timeline

Preference goes to up-to-date, innovative work that offers practical takeaways as well as insights.

Acceptance notifications planned mid-July.
