BSides Seattle is a community based conference for individuals in or interested in Information Security. Founded in 2012, BSides Seattle continues to provide space for the open sharing of ideas, concepts and debates. A place where security geeks of all ages, all levels of learning, all walks of life can bring their true selves and learn amazing things.

Thank you for your interest in applying to speak at BSides Seattle 2025, held Friday and Saturday, April 18th and 19th in Redmond, WA.

Decisions on submissions will be sent no later than February 21. 

This year's theme is "Onward to the Edge"

What inspired your drive and creativity? What horizon is calling to you? 

We are asking you to indicate which track(s) you think your submission aligns to:

  • Build It: Tools and such for security and privacy
  • Break It: Interesting hacks for security and privacy
  • Grow It: Career topics for security and privacy
  • Push It: New and exciting topics in security and privacy
  • Learn It: Workshops for security and privacy
  • Know It: Cyber intelligence for security and privacy
  • App It: Application security centric topics

Additional information:​

  • Do not include PII in your submission. This may cause your submission to not be accepted.
  • Any CFP submission that does not abide by our Code of Conduct will not be accepted.
  • Any CFP submission deemed to be sales pitches for products/services or marketing campaigns will not be accepted.
  • Speaking slots are 25 and 55 minute options including time for Q&A.
  • Submitting a workshop?  Please submit and include the duration in your session details. 
  • Talks can have up to 2 speakers. 
  • Panels can have up to 4 panelists and a moderator.
  • You can submit up to 3 different submissions.
