The Budapest BI Forum is an international conference on Business intelligence, Data visualization and Data analytics taking place between November 20-22. This year the conference will be run in a hybrid mode, allowing both in-person and remote talks.

Welcome to the Budapest BI 2023 CFP!

We invite you to submit technical talks, case studies and  best practice presentations related to the topics of the conference.

The conference will have English and Hungarian tracks, so we are accepting proposals in both languages. The talks can be delivered either in person in Budapest or remotely via Zoom.

Session formats

The conference will have talks in the following formats:

  • Workshops (either 80 minutes or 2x80 minutes). The workshops will take place on the first day of conference (November 20, Monday), and will be delivered in-person.
  • Standard talks (30 minutes + Q&A). The in-person standard talks will take place on the second day of the conference (November 21, Tuesday), the remote standard talks on the last day (November 22, Wednesday).
  • Quick talks (15 minutes). The quick talks can be delivered either in-person or remotely, but we have a preference for remote delivery in this case.

Speaker benefits

The conference offers free registrations for all speakers (except for the workshop day), which include coffee breaks and lunch on Tuesday for in-person speakers.

We also offer free accommodation to international speakers visiting Budapest at the conference venue according to the following rules:

  • Speakers doing a workshop session receive 2 nights.
  • Speakers doing a standard session receive 1 nights.
