The Budapest BI Forum is a vendor-independent business intelligence and analytics conference in Hungary that awaits those interested in data analysis and data visualization between November 17-19.

Key Dates

  • November 17, Monday: In-person Workshops
  • November 18, Tuesday: In-person Talks (with streaming option for viewers)
  • November 19, Wednesday: Remote Talks (delivered via Zoom)

The event will be held in a hybrid format so the audience can participate either in person or remotely. The in-person part of the conference will be hosted at the Danubius Hotel Helia.

Welcome to the Budapest BI 2025 CFP!

We invite you to join us as a speaker and submit technical talks, case studies and best practice presentations related to the topics of the conference.

The conference will have English and Hungarian tracks, so we are accepting proposals in both languages. The talks can be delivered either in-person in Budapest (Nov 17, 18) or remotely via Zoom (Nov 19).

Session formats

The conference will have talks in the following formats:

Workshops (4x80 or 2x80 minutes)
The workshops will take place on Nov 17, Monday and will be delivered in-person.

Standard talks (30 minutes + 10 minutes Q&A)
The in-person standard talks will take place on Nov 18, Tuesday, the remote standard talks on Nov 19, Wednesday.

Quick talks (15 minutes + 5 minutes Q&A)
The quick talks can be delivered either in-person or remotely, but we have a preference for remote delivery in this case.

Speaker benefits
The conference offers several benefits to the speakers, including free registration and accommodation support.

Conference ticket
The conference offers free registration for all speakers.

  • For workshop speakers (who deliver workshops on Nov 17, Monday): All-Inclusive Hybrid Ticket
  • For in-person speakers (who deliver talks on Nov 18, Tuesday): 2-Day Hybrid Ticket
  • For online speakers  (who deliver talks on Nov 19, Wednesday): 2-Day Online Ticket

Accommodation

  • For the workshop speakers (who deliver workshops on Nov 17, Monday) we provide two nights free accommodation in the conference hotel.
  • For the in-person speakers  (who deliver talks on Nov 18, Tuesday) we provide one night free accommodation in the conference hotel.

Speaker dinner
All in-person speakers are kindly invited to attend as our guest.

Co-speakers 

  • Co-speakers are welcome for workshops and standard talks, but not for quick talks.
  • One co-speaker can be nominated.
  • Only the main presenter will represent the talk.
  • Co-speakers will also receive a free ticket to the conference and are invited to the speaker dinner, but will not enjoy the other speaker benefits.

By submitting, you agree

  • that your session will be recorded.
  • that we can share your biographical data publicly, as well as - other profile information such social media or website links.
  • that we will not publish your e-mail, phone number, or other private information.
  • that phone numbers are only used in urgent case and for emergencies.
  • that we can publish photographs of you and your sessions.
