Welcome to the Budapest Data+ML 2024 CFP!

We invite you to submit technical talks, case studies and best practice presentations related to the topics of the conference.

The conference will have English and Hungarian tracks, so we are accepting proposals in both languages. The talks can be delivered either in person in Budapest (June 11) or remotely via Zoom (June 12)

ML related topics:

  • Computer Vision
  • Natural Language Processing (NLP)
  • Generative AI and LLMs
  • Data Science tools and frameworks
  • AI Infrastructure and MLOps
  • Applied ML and AI case studies


Session formats
The conference will have talks in the following formats:

Workshops (either half-day, 2x80 minutes or all-day, 4x80 minutes)
The workshops will take place on the first day of conference (June 20, Monday), and will be delivered in-person.

Standard talks (30 minutes + 5 minutes Q&A)
The in-person standard talks will take place on the second day of the conference (June 11, Tuesday), the remote standard talks on the last day (June 12, Wednesday).

Quick talks (15 minutes + 5 minutes Q&A)
The quick talks can be delivered either in-person or remotely, but we have a preference for remote delivery in this case.


Speaker benefits

Conference ticket
The conference offers free registrations for all speakers (except for the workshop day), which include coffee breaks and lunch on Tuesday for in-person speakers.

Accommodation
For the in-person speakers we provide free accommodation in the conference hotel:
- One night for speakers doing a workshop or standard in-person talk
- Two nights for speakers doing both a workshop and a conference talk

Speaker dinner
The speaker dinner will take place on the evening of June 10, Monday and all in-person speakers are kindly invited to attend as our guest.

Co-speakers benefits

Co-speakers are welcome for workshops and standard talks, but only the main presenter will represent the talk on the conference website. Co-speakers will also receive a free ticket to the conference and are invited to the speaker dinner, but will not enjoy the other speaker benefits.
