GDG Bujumbura is inviting speakers for Build with AI Bujumbura, an in-person community event bringing together developers, founders, product leaders, and AI enthusiasts to explore how artificial intelligence is being used to build practical, real-world solutions. We are looking for practitioners, educators, researchers, and community voices who can share hands-on experience, case studies, lessons learned, or emerging ideas around AI tools, platforms, and applications. Sessions should be relevant, grounded in practice, and accessible to a mixed audience, with a strong focus on how people can apply what they learn after the event.

We welcome talk proposals, live demos, workshops, and panel discussions delivered in French or English. Topics may include building with modern AI frameworks and APIs, AI in products and startups, responsible and ethical AI, human-centered design, and local or regional use cases. Proposals should clearly state what attendees will learn and the value they will take away. Sales-focused or purely promotional sessions will not be considered. Selected speakers will have the opportunity to engage with a growing tech community and contribute to shaping how AI is built and used in Burundi and beyond.
